Pastor Jim was raised in Huntington Beach, California. He graduated from the University of Washington and relocated to the Albany area in 1991.
He received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord in 1977 while attending a teens Bible Study at Calvary Chapel, Costa Mesa. He has been part of various church ministries since the age of 18, teaching Children's Sunday School programs, Youth Groups, and Men's Bible Studies.
As Associate Pastor of Reach Out Fellowship he and his wife, Sue, oversee the Children's Ministry, both the Men's and Women's Bible Studies, and the Children's Worship Ministry.
He and Sue have four children.
