Pastor Jerry was raised in Albany, and graduated from the Albany Academy, Princeton University, Albany Law School, and Luther Rice Seminary.
After serving as an Army Captain in Viet Nam, he joined his father's Albany law firm, serving as a partner for thirteen years.
He received Jesus Christ as His Savior and Lord in 1978. After five years of independent Bible study, he was ordained by the Calvary Chapel Outreach Fellowships. He started Calvary Chapel of Albany in 1983, with his parents, Pastor Mort and Mother Verna Lynn.
With a pentecostal background, he gained a Baptist education, receiving the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Luther Rice seminary.
The church became Reach Out Fellowship in 1996. Our church may be described as Bible-based, prayer oriented, born again, Spirit-filled, evangelical, nondenominational, charismatic, and full gospel.
Pastor Jerry's deep desire is to spread the good news that through Jesus, all can experience His five-fold salvation -- spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially, and relationally.
